Simpler than you think.
More powerful than you'd expect.
From setup to a full album of guest photos — here's exactly how QR Moments works, step by step, for you and for everyone at your event.
Three steps, start to finish
You handle these once. Everything after that is automatic.
Create your album
Sign up, name your event, pick a date and choose a QR code style. That's your whole setup. There's nothing to install, no hosting to configure, and no credit card needed until you're ready to go live.
- Name your album and set the event date
- Choose a QR code design (plain, branded, or styled)
- Optionally add a PIN so only invited guests can upload
- Your album URL is created instantly — qrmoments.co/your-event
Put the QR code where guests will see it
Download your QR code and put it anywhere that works — table cards, welcome signs, the bar, the programme, a WhatsApp message before the event. Wherever people look, that's where to put it.
- Download as PNG, SVG or PDF — print-ready at any size
- Display it on any screen or projector at the venue
- Share the link in the invite, on the table or via WhatsApp
- Guests can also type the short URL directly if they prefer
Download everything and relive it
When you're ready, pull the whole album as a single ZIP file — every photo and video exactly as it was uploaded, full resolution, neatly organised by time. Browse it online any time, or save it to your hard drive forever.
- One-click ZIP download — all files, full resolution
- Browse and favourite shots directly in your online album
- Download individual photos or the whole album any time
- Album stays live for 1 year (Standard) or forever (Lifetime)
Here's what they see when they scan
No app. No sign-up. No explanation needed. Point, scan, upload — done.
Scan with the camera
Guests point their phone camera at the QR code. No app needed — their camera recognises it and shows a tap-to-open prompt.
A page opens instantly
Tapping the prompt opens a simple, clean upload page in the browser. The album name shows so they know they're in the right place.
Pick photos from their camera roll
They tap the upload button, select one or many photos (and videos), and hit share. Works on iPhone and Android without any settings changes.
Done — and they can see the album too
The upload finishes in seconds. Guests can then browse the album and see what everyone else has shared — which usually gets more people contributing.
What's happening behind the scenes
While you're enjoying your event, QR Moments is quietly doing the work.
Live slideshow on any screen
Open the slideshow URL on a TV, laptop, or projector. As guests upload, their photos appear in real-time — no refreshing, no fiddling. Just a living wall of memories playing out at your event.
Real-time upload notifications
You get a notification every time a batch of photos comes in. Log in to your album dashboard from your phone and watch the count climbing — without leaving the party.
Sub-albums keep things organised
Running a multi-part event? Create sub-albums for the ceremony, reception, cocktail hour — each with its own QR code. Guests scan the right one for the moment they're in.
Moderation, if you want it
Turn on upload moderation and every photo waits for your approval before appearing in the album. Useful for corporate events or anywhere you want to keep things polished.
Guest voice messages
Alongside photos, guests can record a short voice note — a message, a toast, a story. These come through as audio files in your album and are genuinely moving to listen to later.
PIN protection
Add a PIN code to your album so only people you've shared it with can upload. The QR code still works — guests just enter the PIN when the page opens.
What a day with QR Moments looks like
This is roughly how a wedding goes — from the morning setup to the final download.
You create the album
Two minutes on your laptop. Album is live, QR code is ready. You send the link to your venue and print the table cards.
Venue puts up the signs
Table cards go out, the welcome board goes up, the screen at the bar starts showing the slideshow URL — blank for now, ready to fill.
First uploads come in
Guests waiting for the ceremony starts scanning out of curiosity. A few photos of the venue, the flowers, the children running around.
Album starts filling up fast
This is usually the most active period. Guests are relaxed, drinks in hand, and the QR code on the bar is right there. 200 photos in 90 minutes is normal.
Slideshow becomes a conversation
The live wall behind the bar is showing photos guests took an hour ago. People notice themselves on the big screen — and reach for their phones to add more.
The candid shots nobody planned
Your photographer is taking the first dance. Your guests are capturing everything else — the group photos, the cake cutting moments, the kids asleep under a table.
You open your laptop to 800+ photos
One click. Everything downloads as a ZIP. You spend the next hour going through shots you had no idea existed from the night before.
Still wondering how something works?
Ready to see it for yourself?
Set up your album in two minutes — no credit card, no commitment. Your QR code is live the moment you finish.
