Getting Started

5 questions

QR Moments is a photo-sharing platform built around a single QR code. You create an album for your event, get a QR code, and put it anywhere guests will see it — a table card, a screen, an invitation. Guests scan it, upload photos straight from their camera roll, and everything lands in one shared album that's yours to keep. No app, no logins, no chasing people for photos afterwards.

Around two minutes. You name your event, set a date, choose a QR style, and your album is live. The QR code is generated instantly and ready to download. You don't need to configure anything technical or speak to anyone — it's all self-serve.

Not at all. If you can fill in a form and click a button, you can set up QR Moments. The whole product is designed to be used by people who aren't tech-savvy — that includes you as the host and your guests.

Yes. You can create a free album, generate your QR code, and test the full upload flow before paying anything. You only need to purchase a plan when you're ready to go live with all features active.

No — and that's by design. QR Moments is entirely web-based. You manage your album through a browser, and your guests upload through a browser too. Nobody installs anything.

For Guests

6 questions

Three things: point their phone camera at the QR code, tap the link that appears, and choose the photos they want to share. That's it. The whole process takes under 30 seconds. There's no account to create, no app to download, and no personal information required.

Yes, on both. All modern iPhones running iOS 11 or later can read QR codes directly through the camera app. Android works the same way from Android 9 onwards — most phones from the last five or six years. Older phones may need a free QR scanner app, but this is very rarely needed in practice.

Yes. Guests can upload photos and videos from their camera roll. Video files up to around 500 MB per file are supported. Everything is stored at the original quality — we don't resize, compress, or re-encode anything.

By default, yes — guests can browse the shared album after uploading. This tends to encourage more people to contribute once they see what others have added. If you'd prefer a private-only experience, you can disable guest browsing in your album settings.

The album also has a regular web address (e.g. qrmoments.co/your-event) that anyone can type into any browser. Guests without smartphones can access the upload page from a laptop or tablet instead.

On the Lifetime plan, yes. Guests can record a short voice message through the upload page — a greeting, a toast, a funny story. These come through as audio files in your album alongside the photos. They're genuinely one of the most memorable parts of the whole experience.

Photos & Videos

6 questions

Always. We store every file exactly as it came off the guest's camera — original resolution, original quality, nothing touched. Whether it's a 12 MP iPhone shot or a 4K video, what you download is identical to what was uploaded.

No. Both plans include unlimited photos and videos. There's no per-guest cap, no daily limit, and no cap on total storage. Upload as many as your guests take.

As many as you have. The system scales automatically, so if every guest at a 500-person event hits upload simultaneously, it handles it. There's no queue and no slowdown.

Yes. Turn on upload moderation in your album settings and every photo waits for your approval before it's visible to other guests. You'll get a notification for each batch and can approve or remove individual uploads from your dashboard.

Yes. As the album owner, you can delete any photo or video at any time from your dashboard. Guests cannot delete their own or others' uploads — only you can.

All standard photo formats (JPEG, PNG, HEIC, WebP) and video formats (MP4, MOV, AVI) are supported. HEIC files from iPhones are handled automatically — no conversion needed on the guest's end.

Storage & Downloads

6 questions

On Standard, your album and all its contents are stored for one year from your event date. On Lifetime, they're stored indefinitely — the album stays live and downloadable forever. We send you a reminder email well before a Standard album expires.

Your album closes and the photos are removed from our servers. Anything you've already downloaded is yours permanently — that's why we encourage downloading the ZIP sooner rather than later. You'll receive reminder emails at 30 days, 7 days, and 1 day before expiry.

Yes. Email us and we'll upgrade your album for the $50 difference — no need to repurchase. Your album, your QR code, and all the photos already uploaded stay exactly as they are.

From your album dashboard, click the "Download all" button. Your entire album — every photo and video — downloads as a single ZIP file. You can also download individual photos or filter and download specific batches.

Photos are sorted into folders by date and time uploaded, and named with a timestamp so they sort correctly in any file browser. If you have sub-albums (Lifetime plan), each sub-album gets its own folder inside the ZIP.

No. Download as many times as you like, on as many devices as you like, for as long as your plan is active.

Pricing & Billing

6 questions

Everything you need on the day: unlimited photos and videos, unlimited guests, original quality storage, no app or login for guests, a custom QR code, a live venue slideshow, and a full ZIP download. Your album stays live for one year from your event date.

Everything in Standard, plus: permanent storage (photos never expire), a permanent shareable album link, voice message guestbook, up to 6 sub-albums, multiple admins, and priority support.

Each plan covers one event — one album, one QR code. If you're hosting multiple events, you'd purchase a plan for each one. Contact us if you're planning a series of events and we'll talk through options.

Privacy & Security

6 questions

By default, anyone with the QR code or album link can upload and view photos. You can restrict this by adding a PIN — guests will need to enter it before the upload page appears. You can also disable guest browsing so only you can see the full album.

Never. Your album is private to the link. We don't use your photos for advertising, we don't share them with third parties, and they don't appear anywhere publicly. Your photos are yours.

Yes. Payments go through Stripe, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified — the highest standard in payment security. We never store your card details on our servers.

By default, yes — guests don't need to give a name to upload. On the Lifetime plan, you can enable name tracking, which prompts guests to enter their name before uploading. Each photo is then tagged with the contributor's name in your dashboard.

Yes. We are based in the EU and fully compliant with GDPR. Guest uploads are stored on EU servers. We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate the service, and you can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us.

On Standard, when the one-year storage period ends, your photos are permanently deleted from our servers. On Lifetime, nothing is ever deleted. You can also request manual deletion of your album and all its data at any time by contacting us.
